Zoe April Fowler

After taking care of everyone around her, Zoe April Fowler (Durity) went to the caring arms of her Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the age of 50. In His mercy, she lost her battle after a brief illness. Zoe lived her life in service to others. Throughout her career at various restaurants, including Cracker Barrel and Chick-fil-A, she excelled in taking care of others. At home, she was the caregiver for her father-in-law during his last 10 years. She loved her husband, Allen. Together, they enjoyed gardening, home projects, Tennessee football (Volunteers and Titans), and trips to the Dominican Republic for vacation. She was hard-working, dependable, kind, generous, and never wanted the spotlight on herself. Somehow, she even survived a 1994 parachute failure and appeared at her brother's wedding a few months later. Preceded in death by brother-in-law, Stanley Fowler and sister-in-law, Connie Bales. Zoe is survived by her husband, Allen; mother, Ramona Adriance; father, Harry Durity; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Possum Lacey; sons, Brad (Vanessa) Fowler and Sam (Michelle) Fowler; grandchildren, Hayden, Hudson, and Hayley Fowler; brother, Sean Durity; stepsister, Lisa Mears; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Freddie) Tipton and Tammy (Frank) Farmer; brother-in-law, Gary Fowler; and grieving with them are cousins, nieces, nephews, and her faithful friends at Chick-fil-A Fountain City. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
