If Zach had been asked to write a tribute to someone's life the first thing he would have said is, "Ain't nobody got time for that" in the goofy way he always would. Either his desire to make you happy or his need to keep you off his back would have made him do it anyway. Not without a little complaining and an occasional "bruh" to let you know you disrupted his goal to increase his Call of Duty "kill" total.
Everything had a score of importance that went from "life" which meant really really good in Zach lingo to "bruh" which meant really super annoying.
Zach was the kind of person that kept his walls up until he knew he could trust you. Once he let you in, you were privy to the little boy side of him he used to get his way and show you how much he loved you. He would start to pet his victims and say, "You know you love me" always exaggerating the word love.
Zachary Taylor Branam was gifted to this world on November 4, 1999. He was someone to everyone and not one of them share the same memories or bond. He was a grandson that became a son. A nephew that became a brother. A brother that became a best friend. A boy that became a father and a stranger that became someone's prayer. Most importantly he was a tormented soul made free by God on Sunday morning April 24, 2022 when he received salvation.
Despite this cruel world, Zach was loving, compassionate, goofy, brilliant and had beautiful desires for his future.
He would torment you with Harry Potter, leave Ramon noodle crumbles all over the counter, use all the hot water with his 45 minute showers, complain if his hair didn't do that "flippy thing" on both sides, use your tweezers and not return them, refused to eat green vegetables and would dry heive if one got in his mouth, onions were the devil, nothing was ever salty enough, he was always in a hoodie or wrapped in a blanket and folding his personal laundry was a hard "No".
On Wednesday April 27, 2022 Zach gave his final gift, the gift of life through organ donation. He leaves behind the "village it took to raise him" but his beautiful smile, brilliance and bright eyes will live on through his baby girl Elena.
Sweet baby boy Zach you are now the Phoenix rising from the ashes of the darkness into the light stronger and free
