Wrildia Blackburn, age 88, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was a member of Roseberry Baptist Church. She was the Christian mother anyone could want. Everyone that met her, loved her, and she loved everyone. She never found fault in people. She will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by husband John E. Blackburn, mother Roxie Wyrick, father Lon Wyrick, and brothers: Claude, Charles, and Dee Wyrick. Survivors include daughters Karen Sharp and Kimberly Blackburn. She had a wonderful son-in-law William Sharp and several nieces and nephews that were very special to her. She also leaves behind Dora Elliot, Pat Hooks, Vickie Hooks, Bobbie Bales, Ricky, Teresa, Lauren, Tonia, Ashley, and Sheila. Special friends include Jean Boling, Betty Jarnigan, Gary Boling (and family), Brenda Witt, Kimberly Bitar (her third daughter), Karen Fisher, and Patti Nicely; all whom she loved dearly. Family will have a Call at Convenience from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
