W.L. (Tom) Corum

October 30, 1931 — July 18, 2016

W.L. (Tom) Corum, age 84, father of 3, grandfather of 8, and great-grandfather of 2, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. He was a member of Faithway Baptist Church in Halls Crossroads for 20 years. He retired from General Motors in Speedway, Indiana after 37 ½ years, was an avid bowler for many years, and was a 60 year member of the American Legion. Preceded in death by parents, Nick and Susie Wilkerson Corum; brothers, A.G. and Raymond Corum; and granddaughter, Kristin Nichole Corum. Survived by wife of 27 years, Patricia J. Wagoner Corum; son, Larry A. Corum; daughters, Deborah K. Corum Dunham and husband Paul, and Karen A. Corum Daniels and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Andrew and Jeremy Daniels, Tara Corum Barnett, Vanessa, Benjamin, Zachary, and Gabriel Dunham; great-grandchildren, Noah and Ella Barnett; and sister, Thelma B. Demaree. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faithway Baptist Church, the Alzheimers Association, or the Heart Association. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 Wednesday at Faithway Baptist Church with service to follow, Pastor Rick Passmore officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
