Winston Bullen Evans

Winston Bullen Evans, age 86, a member of First Baptist Church of Powell, passed away at her home on December 9. Winston was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She is preceded in death by father James Bullen; mother Pearl Bullen; sister Gladys York; brother Paul Bullen; and infant son James Terrell Evans. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 67 years James “Jim” Evans; her children Jan Marker (Bob), Vicki Derreberry (Doug), Gary Evans (Kim); six grandchildren Scott and Kate Marker, Paige Brannan, Kent Derreberry, Brittany Hutchinson and Travis Evans; five great grandchildren and special niece Cindy Stooksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Powell. At Winston’s request, family and friends will meet 1:45PM Tuesday at Mt. Hermon Methodist Church Cemetery for 2PM graveside service, Pastor Phil Jones officiating.
