Wilma Jane Madgett

Wilma Jane Madgett, age 93 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. She was a lifelong member of Roseberry Baptist Church. She loved camping, cooking, and gardening.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rose Mae Mitchell; loving husband of 64 years, Grady W. Madgett Sr.; and son, Franklin Madgett.

Wilma is survived by her son, Grady (Sandy)W. Madgett Jr.; daughter, Teresa (Charlie) Hill, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as several siblings, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 5:00-7:00PM with a 7:00PM service to follow, Pastor Greg Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Roseberry Baptist Church in Wilma’s memory, 2920 Roseberry Rd Mascot, TN 37806. On Sunday, January 19, 2025, family and friends will meet at Roseberry Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:45PM for a 2:00PM graveside service. Pallbearers: Grady W.
