Willie L. Burnett

Willie L. Burnett, 83 of Knoxville, went into the arms of Jesus of Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Willie was born to the late Austin Richard and Harriet Johnson Brown on March 27, 1934 in Knoxville. She loved to cook and be with her family. She loved being a wife, mother , and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survived by sister Wanda Sharp; children Mike (Donna) Burnett, James Burnett, Debbie Moreland, Janet Dawn Hurst, Kelly Mahan; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Sunday 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 4:00p.m. Family and friends will meet 10:45a.m. Monday in Asbury Cemetery for an 11:a.m. interment.
