William John Weaver III

March 25, 1971 — February 24, 2025

Knoxville

William John Weaver III, mostly known as Billy Weaver, age 53 , a life long resident of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Tennova North in Powell, Tennessee.  He crossed over into Heaven, his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior, his momma, mamaw, dad, uncle Jerry, and his best friend and cousin Scotty Walker.  Billy was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 25, 1971 to his mother Teresa Darlene Bowling and his father William John Weaver, Jr.  Billy was the master of grilling and an exceptional cook, he enjoyed teaching his grandsons and daughter his recipes and grilling secrets.  He had a vivid imagination and could bring it to life, all he needed was a a pen and paper and he drew it out into a masterpiece.  He had an eye for painting houses and creating things out of wood or steel.  He could cut hair like a licensed barber, although he had no license, he still had a passion for making each persons haircut as good as the next.  He really tried to exceed peoples expectations, because he truly did not like to make people upset.  He really took pride in his hobbies, jobs and activities, he really wanted everyone to be proud of his accomplishments, and we certainly were.  Billy enjoyed spending his days with his oldest two grandsons and his oldest daughter and his son Matt.  He loved teaching his sidekick/grandson Bentley his recipes, grilling techniques and which spices were his favorites, as well as the do's and don'ts of grilling.  Although Billy has 7 grandchildren and he loved each one so much, he had bonded the most with the 2 oldest because he was with them everyday.  But he has an exceptionally close bond with Bentley because they are so much alike.  Billy really looked forward to the time he had with Bentley or as he called him "Big Head" and Bentley called him "Baldie Basics" they played pranks on each other everyday.  They were inseparable.  It has really been hard on Peyton and Bentley, loosing their pepaw.  Billy had so many wonderful qualities, that he has passed down to his 2 grandsons and they have so many memories to carry on in their life of the time they had with their pepaw.  Billy will be missed by us all, there isn't enough ink or paper to write all of the things we will miss about him, we just really miss him.  Billy was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Bowling, his mamaw Ann Bowling, his father William Weaver, Jr., his uncle Jerry Bowling, his cousin Scotty Walker and many other friends and family members that his is reunited with in Heaven now.  Billy is survived by his oldest daughter and husband, Maranda and Javan; his son Matt; his son Billy and fiance Trisha; his son Tyler and wife Skylar; his son Zack and girlfriend Sarah; his youngest daughter Tiera Jones and his chosen daughter Tara Weaver Munsey; his grandkids Peyton, Bentley, Penelope, Kadyn, and Kaison; as well as his sisters and brothers, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, step sister and step mother Joyce Weaver of Alabama, and a host of friends.  At this time the family has chosen a private Celebration of Life that will be held a a later date.  If you would like to send flowers, please send those to Mynatt Funeral Home, Ft.
