William Terry Smith

William Terry Smith, age 67, went to be with the Lord on, Thursday, February 6, 2025, following a battle with cancer. Terry was a devoted husband and loving father. Terry was quiet, but funny, never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. He could do it all and fix anything. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be missed immensely. Terry spent 42 years working at Coastal Supply and loved his work family dearly. He was a faithful member of Lonsdale United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed serving until his recent illness.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, William Arnold Smith and his mother Alice Mae Lane Fee. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Jamie Smith; his daughter, Kalli Rhea (Jack); his sister, Sandy Perry; nephews, Jeremy Hill (Olivia), Marc Hill (Shannon); aunts and uncle, several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends he considered family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Terry's care team at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute, special friends Ron, Reba, David, & Ani Kennedy and his work family at Coastal Supply for their unwavering support during his illness.

Receiving of friends will be from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Lonsdale United Methodist Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00pm.  Pastor Timothy Hankins to officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lonsdale United Methodist Church Food Pantry, a cause Terry held dear to his heart.
