William Randal Johnson

William Randal Johnson age 63 of Knoxville (formerly of Nashville) passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021. A veteran of the United States Navy and a retired Master Electrician. Randy loved watching the Vols and NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time in the water and having his toes in the sand. He was passionate about motorcycles, bowling and being in the mountains. Simply stated he was an amazing son, father, grandfather, brother, companion and friend. Preceded in death by his father William A. Johnson; daughter Nikki Stout; special cousin Donnie Murphy. Survivors include his mother Helen Johnson; longtime companion Elaine Davis; sister Patty Aldridge (Kenneth); sons Chris Johnson, Brandon Davis (Beth Dompier), Christopher Elliott (Laura); daughter Taylor Davis (Aaron Grafton); grandchildren Emma and Leah Arnold, Aria Grafton, Trent and Camden Elliott, Calli Stout; niece Alisa Hannagan (Daniel); great-nephew Aidan Hannagan. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Rd Knoxville, TN 37938 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm.
