William Robert Pickett

William (Bobby) Robert Pickett, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born in Knoxville on May 24, 1936, and resided until his passing.

Preceded in death by parents, William Edward and Essie Jane (Sweet) Pickett; son, Roger Pickett; 2 brothers, Troy and LeRoy Pickett; 2 sisters, Geneva Lawson and Iva Gene Mitchell.

He is survived by daughter, Tina Headrick (Rocky) of Knoxville; 2 sons, William (Will) Pickett (Billie) of Knoxville, Larry Pickett (Valrie) of Crossville; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; beloved niece and caregiver, Sherry Lawson; special friends, Joanna Williams, Tara Moore, Dr. T. Chad Griffin, Anita Byers, Betty Mitchell, and the staff and friends at Broadway Towers.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Ft. City Chapel from 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm with Rev. A.C. Cooper officiating. Immediately following the service, family and friends will meet at Bookwalter Cemetery for a graveside service. Pallbearers will be Nick Headrick, Eric Headrick, Ricky Lawson, Gene Lawson, James Mitchell and Rocky Headrick.
