William M. Pierce

William M. Pierce, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away April 9, 2013. He was a retired Journeyman Electrician of IBEW #760. He was a member of Hansard’s Chapel Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 20 years. Survived by wife of 58 years, Juanita Pierce; children and spouses Shaun Pierce and Ruth, Mary Ann Poore and Mike, Keith Pierce and Coy; brother, Franklin Pierce of Rogersville, Alabama; sister, Nan Faddis of Knoxville; grandchildren, Sara, Maggie, Stephanie, James, Emily (Doane), Chelsea and Hannah Pierce, Caleb and Timothy Poore; great grandchildren, Lena, Azlee and Ryan Doane. Memorial service 7:00 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Pastor Keith Pierce and J. Richardson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hansard’s Chapel Methodist Church. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
