William Lee Smith

William Lee Smith, age 83 of Powell went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 20, 2020. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith and loved doing outdoor projects and landscaping. He retired as a pipe fitter from X-10 and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he received the Good Conduct Medal. He was also a collagraphy specialist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inez and William Bartlett Smith; wife, Barbara Janice Smith; son, Russell Wayne Smith; granddaughter, Magen Smith, as well as several siblings. Survivors include his children: Robin (Tim) Webb and Linda Smith; grandchildren: Christopher Brandon, Kyla (Kevin) Lewis, William "Billy" Smith, Morgan Bailey and Kristin Webb; great grandchildren: Victoria, Emily, Allison, Victor and Kadince.
