Elliott, William “Kyle”, age 83, born May 29, 1929, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 25, 2013. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish. He was a fan of sports. Served as a demolition specialist in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Lincoln Richard and Mossie Elizabeth Elliott; brothers, Richard Elliott and Robert “Bob” Elliott; sisters, Barbara Douglas and Shirley Whited, all of Anderson County, Tennessee. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Wanda Elliott of Clinton, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Chris Branum of Halls Crossroads, Tennessee; ex-wife, Ruth Elliott; grandchildren, Kevin Elliott (and wife, Deanna), Shauna Bowling (and husband, Kevin), Christian, Nate and Zoe Branum; great-grandchildren, Karter and Jackson Elliott and Kelsey, Isaac, Kara and Austin Bowling; sister, Dorothy Cooper; brothers, Buddy Elliott and Charlie Elliott; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friend, neighbor and gardening buddy, Joe West. Funeral service 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Charles Tindell officiating. Family and friends will meet by 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for 2:00 pm interment. Pallbearers will be Kevin Elliott, Kevin Bowling, Christian Branum, Rob Turner, Charlie Elliott, and Charles Elliott. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 N.
