William H. Cooper

William H. Cooper, Jr., age 88 of Halls, passed away March 31, 2013. Member of Union Baptist Church. Retired employee of KUB and member of IBEW. Preceded in death by son, Ronald D. Cooper; parents, W. H. Cooper, Sr. and Raye Cooper; brothers, Carl and Ralph Cooper; sisters, Pauline Shipley, Gladys Lunsford, Mildred Archer, Linda Ruth Cooper. Survived by wife of 64 years, Margaret Ruth Cooper; children, Johnny (Nancy) Cooper, Lisa (Ricky) Wells, Linda Arms; grandchildren, Christy, Kevin, Josh and Lori Cooper, Katlin and Kelsey Wells, Ashley and Bradley Arms; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Connor Cooper; sisters, Louise Crawford, Bobbie Reach; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Shirley, Susie, Chris and Shelby for their loving care. Funeral service 8:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Gary Vandergriff officiating. Family and friends will meet by 10:15 am Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to Union Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
