William "Bill" Jay Smith

William Jay Smith, age 90, went to be with his Savior on August 7, 2013. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents Will and Susanna Smith, five brothers, four sisters and two infant children William Darrel and Beverly Ruth. Survivors include his wife of 69 years Marian Louise Smith, daughters Faye Porcella and husband Russell and Yvonne Stobart and husband Edward, nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, sister Rosella Lehner, and brothers Fred Smith and Don Smith. Funeral services will be 4:30 pm Sunday at New Covenant Fellowship. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Monday at Woodhaven Cemetery (160 Edgemoor Rd. Powell, TN 37849) for interment at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends 2:30-4:30 pm Sunday at the church.
