William Arthur Tice

William (Bill) Arthur Tice of Knoxville, TN, Age 73, was surrounded by his loved ones when he went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 4, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Through tears, we celebrate the life of a man who had a heart of gold and lived his life helping others. Though many knew him as a successful business man, he was a silly goofball who loved to have fun, go on spontaneous adventures, and make others laugh. He had an infectious personality that you couldn't help but love. He knew how to make you smile when you were feeling down and provided a comforting shoulder to cry on. He was a devoted husband and the best Daddy a child could ask for. He was a member of Halls Christian Church and honorably served in the U.S. Army for six years. He owned and operated Tice Engineering & Sales in Tice Plaza in Halls for 30+ years and loved his employees as family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by: Parents Richard (Dick) Tice and Daisy Morgan Tice. Beloved son, Richard (Rick) Tice. Brother, Jack Tice of Oregon. Survived by: The love of his life, Lisa Tice. Loving and precious daughter, Suzanne (Tice) Correll & husband Jeremey Correll. Beloved son, Chris Tice. First wife and mother of his two sons, Mary S. Tice. Grandchildren Kaylyn Tice, Addison Tice, and Heidi Lambdin. The father of granddaughter Heidi, Matthew Marsee. Brother, Bob Tice & wife Joyce Tice of Hurst, TX. Sister, Colleen Tice Edgell & husband Arnold Edgell. A host of nieces and nephews. Special friends of 40 years, Debra Baird and Sam Baird, who he loved like a brother.
