Willa Jean Mcneely

Willa Jean Hayes NcNeely, age 88 of Knoxville. She was born December 5, 1929 and entered her heavenly home Friday, July 6, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Maude Hayes; husband, Scott McNeely and granddaughter, Veronica Kirk. Survived by daughters, Patricia Hansard (Dabney), Paula Wells, and Pamela Pennington (Ronny) all of Knoxville. Grandchildren, Sean Mitchell, Brooke Brummitt, Chad Thomas, Amber Babcock, Bronson Pennington and 11 great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends. Jean was a retired hair stylist, avid arts and crafts hobbyist and had a green thumb for her many house plants. She was a member of West Hills Baptist Church. A special thanks to the staff at Atria Weston Place and the staff at Caris Hospice for their remarkable caring and compassion. A gathering for family and friends will be from 4:30-6:30pm on Tuesday, July 10 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Wednesday, July 11 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11am graveside service Rev. Dr. Bryan Wilson officiating.
