Wilgus M. Staley

Wilgus M. Staley, age 87, of Corryton, passed away on Sunday, August 28th, 2016. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, a Korean War veteran, and retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 37 years of service as a Maintenance Technician. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Staley, son, Mike Staley, and wife Susan, granddaughter, Erica Trisch, and husband Sean, great-grandson, Zachery Trisch, brother, Elmer Staley, , many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. He was a great friend and surrogate great-grandfather to Colby Wright. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, with funeral service to begin at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Mark Kitts will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 1st, 2016 at Graveston Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
