Whitney Rachel Sande

Whitney Rachel “Whitter” Sande, loving daughter, sister and granddaughter, age 21, of Corryton, passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, April 15th, 2017. Whitney was born July 10th, 1995. She was a graduate of Gibbs High School and Walter State Community College, where she received a degree as a dental assistant. She was a member of Corryton Baptist Church and worked at King Business Forms. Whitney enjoyed softball, being at the lake or the beach, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. Whitney will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her loving dog Nevaeh. She was preceded in death by brother Austin Sande. She is survived by mother Lori King, father Curtis Sande, siblings Courtney Beeler and Brett Sande, grandparents Jim and Ann King, Carl William Sande, and James and Pat Lane, aunts and uncles Gail (Keith) Bailey, Jennifer Chesney, Christie Sande, and Ryan Sande, together with a host of extended family and special friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Dr. Rocky Ramsey will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to travel in procession to Graveston Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service on Friday, April 21st, 2017.
