Whitney Cornelius Henderson of Knoxville, TN, 45 years of age, met her Savior, on December 20, 2023, after a courageous twenty-month battle with brain cancer. Whitney was born on September 30, 1978, to Marshall and Diana Cornelius. She had the joy of being a big sister to Jensen (Heather). Just a couple of years after graduating from Central High School, Whitney met the love of her life, Travis Henderson, and then had two daughters, Isabella (Nathaniel) and Olivia. Whitney had multiple careers in life. Some of these included the Montgomery Village Baptist Center, JFG coffee, Choice Spine, and being a pastor’s wife. But her favorite was being a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters. Whitney enjoyed traveling with her family, pouring into other pastor’s wives, and bettering herself mentally, emotionally, and physically. Whitney had a smile that would light up a room. To know her was to love her. She loved her family so very much and had a wonderful family that loved her back. Whitney had the support of her husband, daughters, parents, brother, niece, nephews, mother in-law, sister in-laws, church family, and friends. There was nothing fake about Whitney, she was a real as a person comes. Her faith in her Lord was that real also. She loved, and served, her Lord greatly and wanted everyone to know Him like she does. Whitney’s family will receive friends from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Seymour First Baptist Church, with a service to follow. In Lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Montgomery Village Baptist Center. A special thank you to everyone at LifeCare of Blount County, who took such good care of her for the last two months. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
