Wayne Roger Neff

W. Roger Neff, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his home in Flagler Beach, FL. He was born in Powell, TN, where he grew up, graduated (1963), and lived until last year. He was employed by Tennessee Press for many years. He was an avid golfer and he and wife, Faye, loved to travel after his retirement. He was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather, they were his greatest joy. Preceded in death by parents, Vaughn Neff and Flora Neff; sisters, Delores Kirby, June Pardon, Judy Spradlin, and Vonette Hodsden; brothers, Ronnie Neff, Stanley Neff, and Michael Neff. Survived by loving wife of 54 ½ years, Faye McLain Neff; daughter, Jennifer (Bruce) Conkey; grandson, Zachary (Ashlee) Conkey; granddaughter, Waverly (Caleb) Miles; great-granddaughter, Everlee Conkey; brothers, Terry Neff, and Lindsey Neff; sister, Brenda Underwood; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
