Wayne Eugene Powell

Wayne Eugene Powell, age 62 of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith. He was also an avid University of Tennessee Volunteer fan. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Carl D. Powell Sr.; and grandmothers, Bessie Powell and Della Williams. He is survived by his mother Ida Powell, sons, Chase Powell and Matthew Powell; grandchildren, Kameron, Alana, and Bryson Powell; siblings, Linda Powell, Carl D. Powell Jr., Cheryl Lynch, Teresa Strom, and David Powell; loving girlfriend, Gail Borowitz; an honorary mention to David and John Strom, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
