Wanda Lee Graham Oaks

Wanda Lee Graham Oaks age 78, of Maynardville, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was a long-time member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was the most devoted, kind, and loving mother and NiNi to her family. She was the hardest working, selfless, dedicated Christian woman to her family and all who knew her. The last several years she struggled with her health, causing her to be homebound, but she continued to pray for everyone she knew. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Jack” Oaks, parents, Rufus and Cora Graham, and siblings: Audrey Alley, Earl Graham, Robert “Bob” Graham, Dorothy Muncey, Bud Graham, Kaye Merritt, Charles “Buster” Graham, Brenda Bailey and Linda Sexton. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Ronnie) Angel, grandchildren, Abby Angel and Austin Angel, stepdaughter, Lynne Oaks, siblings: Margaret (Roy) Irick, Teresa (Gary) Capps, Tim (Teresa) Graham and Debbie (Lloyd) Poore; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Bill Raley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Carol Caldwell for always being on call. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Gary Watson and Rev. Kyle Shell. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel and travel in procession to New Loyston Cemetery, Maynardville, TN. for an interment service. Pallbearers are Brian Oaks, Rodney Patterson, Doug Fee, Eddie Jones, Tony Beason and Dax Funderburk.
