Wanda Moore

Wanda Earlene Moore, age 83, of Powell, TN, went to be with her Heavenly Father November 7, 2020. She was a member of Callahan Road Baptist Church where she truly loved her Jubilee Class, church family, and Pastor Marc Sasser. Wanda was a graduate of Rule High School Class of 1955. She worked in the medical field for many years with Dr. Byrd and Godfrey, Dr. Russell, and Dr. Len Bellingrath where she retired. Wanda had so many funny stories that she loved to tell about herself. She was Mom, Nana to her “precious angel and golden child”, Queen Bee to her sisters, and Aunt Bee to her nephews and nieces. She will truly be missed by everyone. Wanda is proceeded in death by parents Julius and Hazel Tolliver, husband Charles Ed Moore, and brothers-in-law Leo Moore and Dennis Hodson. She is survived by her daughter Jamie and her son-in-law Donald Bates; grandchildren Drew and Katie Bates; sisters Gertie Moore, Martha Burchfield, and Beverly Hodson; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Wanda loved all her “girls” Haley Longley, Sarah Waters, Jessie Stooksberry, Kelsey Stooksberry, Pat Lawson, and Amber McCarter. They loved her like family for which we are so grateful. Pallbearers will be Chuck Moore, Todd Burchfield, Dr. Lyn Bellingrath, Brentt Arrowood, Heath Moore, and Logan James. Honorary pallbearers will be Connor Burchfield and Landen Arrowood.
