Wanda Fay Jones

Wanda Fay (Padgett) Jones, age 78 passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Padgett; sister, Rosita Asbury, brothers, Floyd, Bobby, Jimmy, and Joe "Hunkey" Padgett. She will be greatly missed by her children, Lisa Elliott, Donna Cochran, Tina Jones, Chris Jones, Melissa Jones; sister, Joeann Robertson; grandchildren, Kelly Cochran, Alicia Kelley, Daniel Ward, Christian Elliott, Scott Rose, Kenneth Rose, Amber Cochran, Haley Cochran, Tiffany Bartlett, Summer Hudson, Zachary Hudson; a host of great-grandchildren. A receiving of friends for Wanda will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37938. Following the receiving of friends a procession will travel to Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2109 Piney Grove Church Rd, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909 for a graveside service with Bryantt Padgett officiating. Serving as pallbearers: Calvin Daulton, Bill Mitchell, Scott Rose, Rodney Elliott, Nathaniel Rogers, Daniel Ward.
