Wanda E. Cate

Wanda Cate better known as Meme or Poochie, a former purchaser at St. Mary’s Hospital and life-long resident of Halls Crossroads, TN died peacefully on November 28, 2021 at the age of 86. Wanda is survived by her daughter; Cammy Reno, grandson Bo Carpenter (Sharon) Gary (Bubba) Carpenter (Misty); Great grandchildren Dylan Carpenter, Caylee Carpenter, Gregory Kiser. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters Jack, Bobbie, Bill, Connie, Benny, Tony, Joy, Debbie. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Cate (Paw), son Doug Cate, brothers, Gene, Pete and Robert Henson. Wanda was born in Knoxville, TN on June 6, 1934 to Alvin and Mildred Henson. Wanda was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching sports and going on car rides with her beloved dog, Shelby.
