Walter L. Witt

Walter L. Witt, age 91 of Strawberry Plains, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 29, 2021. He loved visiting with friends and playing with his grandchildren. He had a special love for piddling with old cars and listening to gospel music while tinkering in his garage. Preceded in death by parents and siblings. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Doris Witt, children Diann McMurtery and Kim Garrett (Robert), grandchildren Rebecca Collins (Josh), Emily Henson (William), Benjamin Garrett, great-grandchildren Jordan and Braylan Collins, Luke and Kate Henson, special extended family Toby and Abby Long. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Inurnment service will be held privately at a later date.
