Walter Eugene Gilbert

Walter E. Glibert Sr., age 54, of South Knoxville, passed away June 16, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He attended South Knoxville Church of God. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Edna Gilbert. Survived by, loving wife of 34 years, Linda Gilbert, son, Walter Gilbert Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Steven Bryan, grandchildren: Justin, Alyssa, Stefan, Ryleigh, and Madalyn, sisters, Diane Shuler and Pam Allen, brother, Don Gilbert, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Service 8pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Richard Bryan officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
