Walter David Pyle

Walter David Pyle, age 61, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17, 2017. He was a Navy Veteran who loved his country and had respect for others who served. He had a great love for his family, pets, boating, music, outdoors, hiking, and was an avid reader. He strived for perfection in everything he did, and graduated in the top of his class from nursing school. He worked as an RN for many years. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help others. David will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Chesalee Pyle Rouse, father Paul Pyle Sr., step-father Bruce Rouse, brother Paul Pyle Jr., and sister Debbie Pyle. Survived by brother Michael (Jill) Pyle; sisters Cathy (Randall) Atkins and Jamie (Denton) Hickman; brother Mark (Brandi) Rouse; aunt, uncle, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, November 24, 2017 at Inskip Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee from 6-7pm with a service following, Rev. Denton Hickman officiating.
