Walter Benjamin Jarriel

Walter Benjamin Jarriel, born Thursday, September 10, 1959, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. He served proudly in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. Walter lived a rich and full life, making friends everywhere he went. Walter accepted Christ before his passing and he is reunited with his daughter, Shawna. Walter was preceded in death by his daughter, Shawna Jarriel; parents, Tommy and Joyce Jarriel; and sisters, Linda Klecka and Maryjane Beasley. He is survived by sisters, Tommie Martin of California and Karen Bogan of Douglas, Georgia; brother, William Jarriel of Knoxville, Tennessee; and special friends, Rose Bowers, Mike Rogers, and Jason Shymlock. Friends may call at their convenience Monday, February 14, 2022 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 Tuesday, February 15, 2022 for a 12:30 pm graveside service with full military honors presented by Volunteer State Honor Guard.
