Virginia Darden Rickett, age 89, of Seymore, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Ben Atchley Veterans Nursing Home. Preceded in death by parents, James and Matilda Johnson; sons, Bobby Mize and Dan Darden; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by sons, Roger Darden and Larry Darden; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Nelle Lane and daughters-in-law. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org. Family and friends will meet 10:45AM Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for 11AM interment service. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Hollie Miller and Rev. Charles McNutt officiating.
