Virginia Mae Haynes Walker Ezell of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022 at the age of 88. Virginia graduated from Sevier County High School in 1952. She then worked as a secretary at Blue Diamond Coal Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration she moved into a new role in the accounting department. She was an active member at Oakwood Baptist Church and Alice Bell Baptist Church. Virginia loved to travel. She was proceeded in death by her parents, William Herman Haynes and Mary Ethel Farr Haynes; her brothers, Edward Eugene Haynes and William Richard Haynes, her husband’s Earl William Walker, Sr. and Ernest Esco Ezell, and son Kenneth Wesley Walker. She is survived by her brother, Randall (Cathy) Haynes; son, Earl (Jacqualyn) William Walker, Jr.; daughter, Jeri (Craig) Lynn Walker MacArthur; grandchildren, Wesley (Christina) Wade Walker, Justin (Katie) Wayne Walker, Erin Leigh MacArthur, Christopher Alan MacArthur; step grandchildren Jake (Nicole) Randolph Smith, Kathryn (Daniel) Ann Smith Fillmore; great grandchildren Brandon Wayne Walker, Jillian Shea Walker, and Nathaniel James Smith. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022, followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, Reverend Larry Woods officiating.
