Virginia Lee Buckner

Virginia Lee Brock Buckner, age 83, passed away December 4, 2018. She was retired from Halls Elementary School where she worked for 35 years in the cafeteria. She was one of the oldest and longest members of Texas Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Woodrow and Gladys Brock and husband Herbert Buckner. Survived by sons Jay Buckner (Donna) and Terry Buckner (Debbie); grandchildren Leslie Hill (John), Andy Buckner (Dana) and Daniel Maxwell; great grandchildren Braden Hill (Aleshia), Britany Hill and Brody Hill and great great granddaughter Evelyn Marie Hill; sister-in-law Edith Grindstaff (Fred), several cousins and 1 aunt. Special thanks to Pat Edmonds who was a cousin and caregiver. Service 7 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Jeff Chesney and Rev. Bill McCarter officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 am Saturday at Texas Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to be made to the Texas Valley Baptist Church Cemetery fund. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
