Virginia Jo Boles Graves, age 86, of Gibbs community, went to her heavenly home on March 16, 2014 while surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by husband Clay Graves; son Daniel Cread Graves and daughter-in-law Brenda Norman Graves; parents Cread Boles and Mossie Winegar Boles; inlaws William Daniel Graves and Katie Elizabeth Graves; siblings Elizabeth Irene Boles, Othella Boles Sharp, Mabel Boles Wells, William K. Boles, and Cecil Boles Sterchi. Survived by sons Ronald Graves of Knoxville and Michael Graves and wife Karen of Talbott; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Graves Willis (William), Jason Graves (Meg), Bridget Graves, Jamie Graves Beason (Zeb), Kevin Graves (Kesha), Phillip Graves (Brianne); former daughter-in-law, Susan Marti; nine great-grandchildren; special niece Charlotte Graves Jordan; several nieces and nephews; special friends and care givers Brenda Taylor and Argil and Glenda Vineyard; special friends The House Mountain Quilters. Service will be 8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Vittetoe and Damon Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, Virginia requested that donations be made to the building fund of Clear Springs Baptist Church, 8518 Thompson School Rd, Corryton, TN 37721. Family and friends will meet 10:45am at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery (Corryton, TN) for 11am interment. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
