Kelly, Victoria Ann Cook, born May 31st, 1942 in Hickory, NC, departed from this life at her home in Crossville, TN on June 14th, 2016. Living mainly in Fountain City, she is an alumnus of Fulton High School and Knoxville Business College. Vickie played her violin in Carnegie Hall with the Knoxville All City Orchestra. She went on to a career in business as a co-owner of Records ‘N Things, Inc. in Knoxville, then she moved to Washington, D.C. where she was assistant to an editor at Scripps-Howard. Moving to Chicago, she was assistant to an editor at the Chicago Tribune. Retiring from the Tribune, she moved to Crossville to be near her son and his family. During her careers she received several awards for outstanding service. She was a precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Vickie attended the First Church of God from her birth until her disability prevented her attendance. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Victor and Mary Cook, her husband Edward Kelly and sister Jacqueline Jeannine Cook. She is survived by her son, Richard Edward Kelly and his wife Jan and children Richard and Lauren Kelly and great-grandson, Rylan; brother and sister -in-law, Howard and Hilda Cook of Louisville, TN; sister Sarah Jane Cook Ausmus; nieces Rhonda Lunsford Southers, and Minda Lunsford Woods and husband Randy Woods; nephews: David Howard Cook and Daniel Carl Cook and their children; great-nieces Sarah Victoria Sadler and husband Brent Sadler and son, Peyton Clark, and Morgan Lea Southers.
