Veronica Ann Upton

Veronica Ann Shuford Upton was born July 25, 1968 in Knoxville, TN and departed from her life November 8, 2024. Veronica was born to the late Margaretta Douglas of Knoxville, TN and Ronald Arnold of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Veronica was preceded in death by her mother, Margaretta Douglas; grandparents James and Mazie Guthrie, and Aunt Mozella and Uncle Samuel Guthrie.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Ronald Arnold; children, Marquis, Marquisha, Maurice, (Valencia), Martez Smith; siblings, Timothy Wells, David (LaKeisha) Douglas, Teresa Weaver, Curtis Rubber; grandchildren, Coya and Jumarrion Cates, Jairah Carter, Maurice Jr., Aain Smith, Sahara and SaRija Garrett, Kori and Kourtnee Bell, Teziah, Akylah Smith, Delvin, Tyren, Jakese and Nikia Smith; nieces, Marketa Weaver, Keydaya Douglas, Coco Smith; nephews, Markies, Keyshawn; Uncle Lorenzo Haro; a host of cousins; the Londsdale and Western Heights Mechanicsville area, Austin Homes; Welch, Bassetts, the Simpson Family, the Hollingworth family, the Jack family; Kim Smith and devoted friends, Kim Parris and kids, My'Shala Martin, Valerie McDaniel, Tonya Chandler, Meka Green and her kids, Kema Boyld and the Kelso family.

Big ups to the dance team, all my girl’s mothers and coaches. Big ups to Keke for being by my side, Luella and all the wonderful people that had a chance to visit Veronica. The family wishes to acknowledge all the acts of love and sympathy during the passing of our loved one, Veronica. May God bless each and every one of you.
