Velma Lee Smith age 37 of Knoxville passed away suddenly Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was a 1999 graduate of West High School. Preceded in death by father Billy Joe Smith. Survivors: mother, Diane L Brown. Children: Lationna and Kierra Smith, and Faith Queientessa Perry. Sisters: Bobby (Miguel) Juan and Jamie (Danny) Griffin; brother: Jimmy (Alicia) Baker. Nieces: Patricia Matias, Gabriela Castillo, Danielle Griffin, Kayla Powers and Alaha Foster. Nephews: Randy Bridges, Jordan Baker, Timothy and Ethan Foster. Aunts: Robin and Pam. Several cousins. Memorial Service 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Forestdale Baptist Church 3214 Forestdale Avenue Knoxville, Tennessee 37917 Pastor David Hutchison officiating.
