Unav Gladys Hammer

UnaV Gladys Wilson Hammer of Powell, born July 11, 1930, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 5, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Earl “C.E.” Hammer Senior, granddaughter Sara Elizabeth Wehner, and parents Reverend Egbert S. Wilson and Rosa Herrell Wilson, as well as her 10 brothers and sisters. She leaves behind 6 loving children, 7 loving grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one special grandson, Thomas Lee, who has dedicated his life to taking care of his Granny and Papaw. She loved the Lord and her family, along with her flowers and her weed eater. She was a member of Island Home Missionary Baptist Church. We have the honor to say there are no more earthly struggles, no more pain and no more sorrow. Only happiness for her as she joins our loving dad and the rest of her family in their heavenly home.
