Ulyss "Pete" Mccoy

Ulyss “Pete” McCoy, age 75 of Andersonville, born October 12, 1941, passed away February 1, 2017 after a brief illness. He was a member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church but attended Hillvale Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by son, David. Survived by wife of 55 years, Ann McCoy; son, Rick McCoy; daughter, Sherry (David) Humphrey, all of Andersonville; eight grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; brothers, Floyd (Jean), Claude (Sue) and Author; sister, Gloria (Roy) of Corryton, TN; special friends, Gary Cook, Jack Effler, and Glen Murl Humphrey and a host of many other friends and family. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Allen Giles officiating and then proceed to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for interment. Pallbearers will be Kyle Gentry, Gary Cook, Jack and Wes Effler, Lynn and Mike McCoy. The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
