Ulys Lynn Brewer

Ulys Lynn Brewer, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. Lynn was a member of Faithway Baptist Church. He was a loving father and husband who loved his church, pastored several churches, loved to sing, and loved to fish. He was always a people person. Preceded in death by parents, Wilma and Jack Brewer; sister, Brenda Brewer Redmond. Survived by wife of 22 years, Tammy Brewer; children, Scottie Brewer and wife Michelle, Elisha Brewer, Jason Hooks and wife Laura, and Matthew Brewer; grandchildren, Caity Brewer, Austin and Abigayle Hooks; brother, Wayne Brewer; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Benevolence Fund at Faithway Baptist Church. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Graveston Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
