Ulyess Doyle Welch

Ulyess Doyle Welch, born December 23, 1926, departed this life October 16, 2018 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a World War II veteran and an active member of Emory Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Reed and Mamie Welch; sister Vonnie Stanifer. He is survived by his son Doyle Welch and wife Christina; step-son Eddie Howard; grandchildren Ashlea, Stefanie and Paige; great grandchildren, Vincent, Jayce and Violet; sisters Virginia Raley, Roberta Bruner and Mattie Coppock; brothers Buford and Carl Welch; special niece and nephew Phyllis Daniels and Dennis Welch and numerous nieces and nephews; and caregiver Jean Ailor. Services will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Receiving of friends will be Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Service to follow with Matt Moles and Richard Nicely officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 9:00am on Friday October 19th and process to Bethany Cemetery for a 10:00am Interment. Those serving as pallbearers are: Steve Bennett, Dennis Welch, Jim White, Roger Simmons and the Deacons of Emory Valley Baptist Church.
