Tyler Dwayne Green, 37, of Clinton went Home on July 1, 2021. He was welcomed by his Savior and his family who had passed on before. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
“Ty” could make you laugh with his quick wit, and once he got started, he’d keep on until everyone around was joining in. Making his boys laugh was often a goal of his, and he succeeded.
He was talented. He was an artist and could sit down and draw as if he’d taken years of lessons. He was a tinkerer, like his Grandpa, and he could build with his hands.
He was generous. If he had it, he was willing to give it away.
He had a wealth of knowledge and could work seemingly useless trivia into any conversation.
He was a friend to the friendless.
He’d try anything once- even if that meant attempting to ride a bike, or a scooter, or any other dangerous form of transportation for a man with one leg. (He even came in second in a two man, one-legged race.)
He had grit. No matter how many times he fell down, he’d try and try to get back up.
Ty was baptized on Sunday, June 27th by his good friend, Dusty.
We wholeheartedly believe that Ty is now at peace and is able to rest.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.
