Trula Mae Mantooth

Trula M. Mantooth, born on December 24, 1932, left this earth to reside in her heavenly home on December 18, 2021. She was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Trula received Christ as her Savior early in her life. We celebrate her life and faith and are confident that she is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by beloved parents, Claude and Mossie White, brother; Frank White, sisters; Irene Pate, Bessie Rutherford, Edna Stooksbury, Cleo Brooks, Frances Hatmaker, and Loretta Gentry. She leaves behind those to cherish her memory, husband of 68 years, Warren Mantooth, daughter; Janice (Michael) Cauley, granddaughters; Amy (Brent) Smartt and Amanda (Chad) Capley, great grandchildren; Evan Smartt, Hayden (Ruby) Capley, Derek Smartt and Abigail Capley, sisters; Bertha Foster, Opal Smith, Elvelean Stanley, Ella Dyer, Gail (Charles) Hatmaker, sister-in-law; Dean Kerr, and a host of nieces, nephews, along with a beloved church family. Family and friends will assemble at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 1:45pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 for a graveside service at 2:00pm . The service will be officiated by Pastor Tom Aiken. In lieu of flowers, Trula requested Memorial Bibles be donated to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 560, Powell, TN, 37849.
