Travis Shawn Hewitt

Travis Shawn Hewitt, age 32 of Powell, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Travis loved the outdoors, four-wheeling, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He had an amazing talent for many things, but most of all, a talent for growing things and cultivating friendships. Travis was the best of the best.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Rodney “Daddio” Hewitt; mamaw, Jeanette Mahan; and uncle, Jeffrey Weaver.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Lynn (Frank) Mahan Hewitt Courrier; loving devoted brother, Dustin Hewitt; uncle, Clyde (Melissa) Mahan; and so very many special longtime friends.

Travis’s family will be having a receiving of friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, with a 5:00pm service to follow. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11am to go in procession to Fort Sumter Cemetery for a graveside service. All are welcome to come.
