Tracy Allen Mackey, Sr., age 51, of Claxton, Tennessee, died suddenly Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was born and raised as a Southern Baptist. Tracy was a motorcycle enthusiast and lived the “Outlaw Lifestyle”. He had the biggest heart and would help anyone who needed it. If he couldn’t, he could at least say that he tried. Tracy loved to be the center of attention, he loved to sing and learned to play instruments by ear and was “The Life of The Party”. Tracy enjoyed grilling and cooking out, Bud Light, moonshine, pancakes with peanut butter, tacos, fajitas, spaghetti and snack cakes. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl G. Mackey; stepmother, Beverly Bourgeois and daughter, Leah R. Scroggins. Tracy is survived by his children, Christopher (Candace) Mackey, Kandis (Jeremy) Holloway, Allen (Linsey) Mackey, Lloyd (Kayla) Scroggins, Dillion (Kate) Mackey, Christopher Shelton and Amber Scroggins; mother, Arlene Swolgaard; brothers, Carl G. (Jennifer) Mackey, Benny Lucas, Jr. (Ron); sisters, Carol Monroe and Candy Metcalf; numerous grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 PM.
