Tracy Bradley Graves, age 98, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side, July 27, 2016. He was a 1938 graduate of Gibbs High School, a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a WWII Army veteran, serving from June 27, 1941 until January 1, 1946. During his time serving our country, he was stationed in The Pacific Theatre, where he was a Technician Fourth Grade, Military Police Platoon 31st Infantry Division and a recipient of three bronze stars. He was an electrician by trade and a member of the IBEW Local 760. He was a man who could build or fix anything. He will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, giving, caring and generous man who did anything for anyone. He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Helen White Graves; parents, Ezra & Maggie Bradley Graves; and brother, Truman Graves. He is survived by his daughter, Liza Graves; sister, Emma Graves Cleveland; several nieces and other family members; special friends of almost 70 years, Charles (Jake) & Katherine (Ray) Loy; and bonus son, Tim Loy. The family would like to express a special thanks to Tennova Hospice and care givers Kim Allen, Tracy Ballew, Teresa Eldridge, Lisa Nance, and Randy Phillips. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee or The Pat Summit Foundation. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am on Saturday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for graveside services at 11am. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
