Tony Edward Mannis

Tony Edward Mannis, 69 of Knoxville passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. Tony was a loving father, brother, son and friend. He was the previous owner of Mannis Truck Repair and at the time of his death he was a supervisor for Clinton Highway Wrecker Service. Tony was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed, he already is…Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mattie Mannis; a brother, William Lee Mannis and grandmother, Ona Belle Rhoads. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Danny) Wampler; grandchildren, Christopher, Haley, Blake and Brock; great grandchildren, Easton and Rylee; brother Clint (Maggie) Mannis; and sister Vickie (Michael) Monroe. Additional survivors include special nephews, Dustin Valentine, Chance Mannis, Jerry Mannis; special friends, Rick Carnes, Steve Mays and numerous nieces. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 16 at 1pm in Highland Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rick Carnes officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville (865) 688-2331.
