Tony Wesley Brewer, age 82 of Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 5:16 A.M. Sunday January 5th, 2025 at Ben Atchley State Veterans Nursing Home with his son Tony and wife Sheila by his side. Tony was a member and deacon of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a former owner and operator of Service Pump Company for over 32 years, working with his son Tony Brewer at the Broadway Amoco Gas Station for over 20 years. He loved to fish and hunt and loved football.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Jennie and Roy Brewer; brother, Bill Brewer; sisters, Teresa Sharp and Judy Anderson. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy Brewer; children; Tony (Sheila) Brewer, Becky Webb, Dean (Anna) Brewer; grandchildren, Wes (Brittany) Brewer, Deanna (Shane) Aycock, Cory (Casey) McCurry, Misty Nelson; great-grandchildren, Addison, Avery, Brody Brewer, Boone McCurry, Hank and Beau Aycock, Eli Nelson; brother, Roy (Bunny) Brewer and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 12:15 P.M. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy) for a 12:30 P.M. committal service; Rev. Tony Brewer officiating with full military honors provided by the East TN State Veterans Honor Guard. The family requests no flowers but to make memorial donations to Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, on 210 Springhill Rd. Knoxville, TN 37914. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
