Tommy Orson Bradford, age 82, of Knoxville, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed into eternity Thursday, September 10, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Tommy was born February 22, 1938. He was a founding member of Still Waters Baptist Church and an ordained deacon. Tommy was a man whose worth was beyond measure. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. Tommy bore many trials and hardships with an unwavering faith, an incomparable work ethic, and an uncomplaining spirit. He was a great and heroic man whose talents and generosity touched many lives through the years. Only the knowledge that he is with his Lord and his loved ones makes his death bearable. Tommy was preceded in death by son, Tommy David Bradford and granddaughter, Jenny Pickell. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Nell Bradford, son, Rick Bradford, daughters, Susie French and husband Danny, and Teresa Pickell and husband Fred, grandchildren, Amber French, Braden French and wife Hannah, Jeremy Pickell and wife Lesley, and AnneMarie, Nathanael, and Jonah Bradford, and special sister-in-law, Barbara Duncan. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Still Waters Baptist Church, 1357 Murray Drive, Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Brother Willis L. Shankles and Brother Elbert Kitts officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 am Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to proceed to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Gov.
